Switching from OptiPin?

OptiPin set the bar for pharmacokinetic modeling in TRT tracking. Doseline takes that depth cross-platform and cross-community.

OptiPin pioneered PK hormone modeling for TRT users — Cmax, Tmax, ester-specific curves. It's genuinely impressive technical work and we respect what they've built. We're here because not everyone is on iOS, and not everyone only tracks testosterone.

Why people switch.

Same PK depth, but you can actually use the free tier.

OptiPin limits you to one medication after the 14-day trial. If you're running testosterone plus an AI, or test plus HCG, you need to subscribe. Doseline gives you unlimited medications, PK charts, and bloodwork tracking — all free.

Android exists.

OptiPin requires iOS 18.1+. If you're on Android — or might switch someday — Doseline is native on both platforms with identical features. No compromise.

More than just hormones.

OptiPin focuses on TRT and peptides, with limited GLP-1 support and no HRT coverage. Doseline serves all four communities with equal depth — your GLP-1, your TRT, your HRT, your peptides, all in one app.

Polished, not pre-release.

OptiPin is still at v0.9.8 — solid for early adopters, but still evolving. Doseline is built with intentional design from day one: considered UI, consistent patterns, and an interface that feels finished.

Common questions.

Is Doseline's PK modeling as accurate as OptiPin's?

Doseline uses published pharmacokinetic data for all supported medications — the same peer-reviewed sources that inform OptiPin's modeling. Both show Cmax, Tmax, and estimated serum levels. Neither is a medical device — both are informational tools.

Does Doseline have vial/inventory tracking?

Not yet. OptiPin's inventory tracking (batch numbers, concentration, storage) is a feature we respect. It's on our roadmap but not in the initial release. If that's a dealbreaker, OptiPin may be better for you right now.

I use OptiPin for peptides. Will Doseline support my stack?

Yes. Doseline supports multi-compound peptide protocols with reconstitution calculators, individual PK modeling per compound, and injection site rotation. If you're running BPC-157, CJC/Ipa, and TB-500 together, Doseline tracks all of them.

Why should I trust a newer app over OptiPin?

Fair question. OptiPin has more time in the market. Doseline's advantage is broader scope (4 communities, not 2), a more generous free tier, and Android support. Try the free tier — if it doesn't meet your needs, you haven't lost anything.

Doseline provides informational tools only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider.
