Overview
Subcutaneous crystalline testosterone pellets (75mg each, typically 6-12 implanted). Near zero-order release at ~1-1.3mg/day per pellet. Duration 3-6 months. In-office surgical procedure with trocar insertion in hip/buttock area. Very stable levels but dose cannot be adjusted once implanted.
Mechanism of Action
Crystalline testosterone slowly dissolves at the implantation site, providing near-constant release over months. No ester — pure testosterone base in compressed pellet form.
