Overview

Anti-inflammatory tripeptide derived from the C-terminal end of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). Used for gut inflammation, skin conditions, and general anti-inflammatory purposes. Available via subcutaneous injection, oral capsules, and topical formulations. Limited human PK data. Requires reconstitution with BAC water for injectable use.

Mechanism of Action

Inhibits NF-kB inflammatory pathway activation. Derived from alpha-MSH but lacks melanocortin receptor binding — anti-inflammatory without tanning effects.
