Overview

Truncated form of IGF-1 missing the first three N-terminal amino acids (des-1-3-IGF-1). This modification increases potency (~10x more potent than native IGF-1) but dramatically shortens half-life to ~20 minutes due to reduced IGFBP binding. Used for localized, site-specific muscle growth when injected directly into target tissue. Requires reconstitution with BAC water.

Mechanism of Action

Hyper-potent IGF-1 receptor agonist. Reduced IGFBP binding means rapid action but very short duration. Used for localized tissue growth when injected site-specifically.
