Overview
A tripeptide (glutamate-cysteine-glycine) and the body's most abundant endogenous antioxidant. Available as IV pushes (clinic-administered), subcutaneous injections, and oral/sublingual supplements. IV route is most bioavailable. Popular in wellness and GLP-1 communities for detoxification and skin brightening. Well-characterized pharmacokinetics for a wellness compound.
Mechanism of Action
Master antioxidant and detoxification agent. Neutralizes free radicals, regenerates vitamins C and E, supports Phase II liver detoxification, and maintains cellular redox balance.
