Overview

A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. Declines with age. Used both topically (skincare) and via subcutaneous injection for tissue remodeling, wound healing, and anti-aging. Very short half-life in circulation. Requires reconstitution with BAC water for injectable use.

Mechanism of Action

Activates wound healing pathways, stimulates collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, promotes stem cell proliferation, and has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The copper ion is essential for its biological activity.
