Time to Peak

1.5 hr

Steady State

~1 days

Dose Range

50–200 mg

Frequency

Daily

Overview

A small molecule NNMT (nicotinamide N-methyltransferase) inhibitor. Not technically a peptide, but tracked by the peptide community for fat loss and metabolic optimization. NNMT is overexpressed in adipose tissue of obese individuals — inhibiting it promotes fat cell energy expenditure. Orally bioavailable. Emerging research compound with promising animal data but very limited human studies.

Mechanism of Action

Inhibits nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), an enzyme overexpressed in white adipose tissue. Reduces fat accumulation by increasing cellular energy expenditure and promoting a more metabolically active adipocyte phenotype.
