Overview
Compounded transdermal estradiol cream. Similar mechanism to gel but with variable absorption depending on compounding pharmacy formulation. Popularized by Dr. Will Powers for scrotal/genital application, which increases absorption 5-8x and produces high DHT conversion.
Mechanism of Action
Delivers unmodified 17β-estradiol through the skin. Absorbed transdermally into systemic circulation, bypassing hepatic first-pass metabolism.
