Overview
Synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) based on the natural pineal gland peptide epithalamin. Studied by Russian gerontologist Vladimir Khavinson for anti-aging and telomerase activation. Used in the longevity community for telomere lengthening and circadian rhythm regulation. Limited Western clinical data. Requires reconstitution with BAC water.
Mechanism of Action
Activates telomerase enzyme, potentially lengthening telomeres. Regulates melatonin production by the pineal gland. May restore circadian rhythm function and have antioxidant properties.
