Overview
Oral anabolic-androgenic steroid (prohormone to epitiostanol). Sold as a "designer steroid" / prohormone in supplement form prior to the 2014 Designer Anabolic Steroid Control Act (US). Notable for being relatively dry and lean with moderate anabolic activity. Frequently stacked with more suppressive AAS for an oral kickstart or used as a standalone for recomposition. Harm reduction: Requires on-cycle support (TUDCA/NAC for liver). Suppressive enough to require PCT. Half-life ~6 hours — multiple daily dosing. No human PK study; half-life derived from community observation and structural analogy.
Mechanism of Action
Converted to epitiostanol (a dihydrotestosterone derivative with an epithio bridge). Binds androgen receptor with moderate-high affinity. Anti-estrogenic properties at the receptor level — does not convert to estrogen, may weakly block it. Reduces SHBG, increasing free androgen levels.
